Photo taken at Arco's Art of the Movie Miniature exhibition. The Dunes sign was about 24 inches tall. had tiny watch bulbs for the letters and vertical zig-zags and had flowing neon buried in the sides to simulate a wiping on of hundreds of tubes up each side.

The Red Rose Motel, utilizing 2 mm neon with coating of red-red and laquered red to get the inchage for the border. A neon gas fill will flicker with longer lengths, it is what we call hard starting. The model is about 7 inches tall, with tiny newspapers in the racks.
